What's the difference between a partnership and an LLC partnership? Are either 1099-able?

LLC is a state-level designation and can vary as far as tax classification. In the case of a “Partnership” vs. an “LLC Partnership,” there is no difference as far as tax classification. Both are viewed as partnerships by the IRS, and yes, both are reportable.  Some LLCs might be sole proprietors (reportable), and some might be S- or C-corporations (exempt from reporting).
