By any chance does you have statistics on what percentage of the Fortune 500 or 100 (basically top large companies) do not have centralized purchasing departments?


TAPN's survey in this area breaks out company size by numbers of employees. Looking at companies of 20,000 employees and above, 15 percent of those respondents indicate a decentralized accounts payable; 85 percent indicate a centralized accounts payable.
